24th Birthday

I had a fantastic birthday! I got to spend it with the kids from Del Pan and Pasay, about 500 kids total. I am really getting to know the kids and their personality, and its nice to spend my birthday with them. They sang me "Happy Birthday" and I got to tell them how happy I was to spend my birthday with them.

After the BMDK, I went with one of the Don Bosco seniors that I have gotten to be good friends with, Lorriane, and another VIDES volunteer, Anna to the Switchfoot Concert! It was a blast. I didn't know any of their new songs, but all their old ones, especially from "Walk to Remember."
It was great to go out to a concert. I haven't been to one in a while and it was nice to spend my birthday doing something fun in the city.

It was a great concert and a perfect way to celebrate in my home away from home, Manila!
