Tessa: I hope this blog will give you all a way to share in my experience as I volunteer with VIDES+USA. From September to December I will be in Geneva, Switzerland working at the Human Rights Office located at the convent which I will be living with. The office works in connection with the United Nations to promote education for disadvantaged women and children. After my stay in Switzerland I plan to continue volunteering with VIDES for another 9 months or so. I have felt the calling of Christ to work in His service. This pulling of my heart in addition to the chance to travel the world is the motivation for this adventure. I hope to learn about my faith, myself, and the world outside of my home country through this experience. Please come along with me as I enter into a new and exciting chapter of my life.
